William Hampton
Owner
William moved to Folly Beach from Atlanta in 1996 and shortly thereafter founded Priority Landscaping. William is a Wofford Graduate and has a Master’s Degree from Georgia State University. He enjoys creating full landscapes from the ground up. William and his wife Cristen have raised four children. During his off time he enjoys camping with his family.
Cristen Hampton
Owner
Cristen is an Atlanta transplant as well. After graduating from The University of Georgia she worked at Verizon Wireless for nine years in Customer Service Management. She uses her experience as her primary focus is customer service and billing. She also assists with seasonal plantings and enjoys creating attractive planter gardens. During her free time Cristen enjoys planting in her garden, camping with family, and long walks on the beach.
McRae Bryan
Operations Manager
Beginning in the landscaping industry in 1997, you would find him with a string trimmer at most times. McRae went on to study horticulture at Brunswick Community College in Supply NC and in 2000, he earned a certification in Turf Grass Management. When asked what his favorite thing is about working at Priority Landscaping, McRae states, “It has to be the ownership of the company. Working with William and the team here has been a blessing to be honest.” McRae adds, “My biggest satisfaction in this job comes from seeing the end product. At the end of the day, I want to be able to rest well knowing our customers are blown away by the services we offer.” When he’s not working or spending time with family you will most likely find McRae on the golf course (probably identifying grasses).
Chris Donegan
Project Manager
Born and raised on James Island, Chris is happy to be supporting a local small business. Chris recently stepped up as Project Manager after working with us in the field since 2016. Starting on a maintenance crew, he quickly moved up the rungs once William saw his potential. Chris knows the ins and outs of the company and makes a great addition to the team. When he is not working, you can find him on the beach or river hanging out and fishing.
Connor Bailey
Project Manager
Born and raised right here in Charleston, Connor is a proud local product who has been working at Priority Landscaping since 2017. As one of our Project Managers, Connor does a great job in helping to lead, from start to finish, our experienced team of landscape installers through the wide variety of landscape projects that we take on. Whether it involves grading work, patios, driveways, artificial turf, sod, plantings, cleanups, and so much more, Connor can handle it all. Prior to joining us at Priority, Connor received his Bachelor's degree from the College of Charleston and his Masters in Business from The Citadel. When he is not working, Connor loves spending time outdoors going on long walks, bike rides, or lounging at the beach.
Joey Rourk
Maintenance Supervisor
Joey has been in the landscape business since 2007. With his knowledge and experience, he oversees the maintenance portion of the business. Between managing employees, meeting with customers, and sending estimates, Joey does it all. Born and raised on Folly Beach, he is a true local. Being a family man, Joey is married with two children and one more on the way. When not at work, Joey enjoys live music, surfing, fishing, and watching his kids play sports.
Cindy Salters
Accountant
Cindy is an amazing asset to our team. She is devoted, hard working, and family focused. As the Staff Accountant, Cindy makes sure our books are balanced and brings advice on how to improve. In the office, she keeps everyone on their toes. She is nicknamed "The Warden" because she holds everyone accountable and ensures the company runs smoothly. When not at work, Cindy enjoys spending time with her family, dogs, and God. We are blessed to have her as part of our team.
James Smith
Senior Turf Applicator
James has been in the industry since 2007. Since then, he has worked his way up to Senior Turf Applicator. James enjoys attending Clemson Agriculture classes to continue his education in the field and keep his brain stimulated. He enjoys bringing back struggling lawns and takes pride in his work. When James is not working, you will likely find him hanging out with friends and family.
Angel Gomez
Office Manager
Angel uses her extensive experience in property management to ensure everything is run smoothy as our office manager. Joining our team in 2023, Angel has jumped right in. She is that helpful voice on the other end of the phone and will answer all your emails! In her free time, Angel is a movie fanatic and loves her Chihuahua, Dexter.
Hannah Flanagan
Website Design, Social Media Manager
Daughter of William and Cristen, Hannah is happy to be able to contribute to the family business. She grew up on Folly Beach and graduated from Georgia State University with a BA in philosophy. Hannah brings enthusiasm, bright new ideas, and hard work to the table. Hannah is quite tech savvy and keeps us updated online!
